Around The World Round Up I

Around The World ends on November 29th and I am showing you here some of my favourites. The event is awesome, showcasing culture from around the world, here in SL. The build itself is pretty cool, an airport that takes you all around the world! One of the things I love about fashion, especially fashion here in SL, is that you can transform yourself into someone else for a time being while wearing something you normally never would. Around The World, with its eclectic items and wares, gives in to that notion of exploring yourself through fashion….so TP to the event and check it out!

My New Fave Skin!

OMG you guys, I am in LOVE with Essences' new skin, Maria!! Comes in 5 different tones (I am wearing Fraise) with cleavages options, blush, as well as 5 lipsticks for light tones, and 5 lipsticks for darker tones. This skin is so pretty head to toe, lots of realistic little details. The eyebrows are really gorgeous, the lips are really pretty too on this skin. Run to Essences to pick up the new Maria skin!

A Darker Shade

Wow, I missed blogging so much!! Been pretty sad and pissed that shadows worked one moment and literally the next moment, they stopped working. It's been now 2 weeks of tech support, first from Firestorm, now LL is trying…it's pretty frustrating, but i think eventually, after one update or another, I will get shadows back.
So, maybe it's because I am feeling a little dark, that I felt like doing a post with black…a colour i wear quite often in rl, really love it. There are TONS of new things to show you guys. New skins from The Skinnery and TSG (The Sugar Garden). Both super cute, lots of makeup options on both…another thing these skins have in common is that the entire body is just gorgeous. Lots of detail paid, not just to the face, but everywhere, which I appreciate.

I really adore how the face is very realistic. Pores and imperfections sorta make a skin in my opinion…but it's a fine line. Emma walks that line perfectly!

New 1965 // House of Fashion

1965 is a fabulous little store who has their new Summer collection out, and I am so pleased to be able to showcase some items in today's post!

These are the cutest little skirts ever! And lace is HUGE this Summer, so I love that too. I adore so much how the bow on the skirt is covered in sequins…my only sadness is that the skirt's band is too small and so i don't get a nice dark blue, sequinned skirt band :( I tried all of the sizes, but alas, none seemed to fit right or be able to see the band…it's not the end of my SL world though, and so I will continue to wear it :) I looove the top, The Little Swan, and feel that it is so versatile. The sequins are sorta out there and loud, but then the rest of the shirt is a beautiful light tan, and so they are a perfect compliment to one another.

This cute little outfit is for this weeks fi*friday event, and wow, girls, run out and grab this cute ensemble. You get the bodysuit (my favourite in this outfit), the cute shorts with two texture options, AND you also get the heels! love Love LOVE!! Everything works so well together, but the fabulous part is that each item on their own is fantastic and parable to so many things! Seriously ladies, this is a MUST HAVE.

Dekade Closing Their Doors :(

Logged on today to see this notecard from Dekade…I am so saddened to hear that Kira is closing Dekade and no longer making new skins. In my opinion she creates some of the BEST skins in Second Life and I am truly sad to see her close her doors. But, there is a silver lining for you shoppers….BIG sale going down!

The Skinnery's Nola Skin Review

The Skinnery has released a new skin called Nola and let me just say for the record: I'm In Love! lol It's a gorgeous skin, very realistically detailed with little freckles dotted in perfection. Another thing i love about this skin are the eyebrows! Beautiful and thick these babies scream sexah! The skins come with dark and light eyebrow options, teeth option, cleavage options and pubic hair. Also 2 make ups, Daytime and Nighttime.
 I decided to pair Nola with this little frock from Tres Blah for this cycle's Collabor88. It's a pretty girly dress but in black it seems to have more edge.

Al Vulo's Debbie Skin Review

Al Vulo has a new skin out right now called Debbie, which comes currently in Cream.
As to be expected with Al Vulo skins, the body is just as gorgeous as the face. 12 make-ups that are all wear-able. It's a very pretty skin overall.
Fleshtone also has released a bag that comes in 6 colours. It really is a fantastic little bag, you can wear with a long strap on the shoulder, or as I chose to, on the forearm.

Swallow Skins has just released a new skin called Fatima and this skin is gorgeous. Darker tones for this one, and the tones that were chosen are so deliciously realistic...the entire body is perfection, from head to toe. Loves it!

Ok, secondly is paper.doll. They have just released the cutest tops. Love the textures, very cute. And they went perfectly with my new Maitreya mesh jeans!! OMG these jeans are my new favorite for jeans. I had bought another well known high quality designer's mesh jeans and let's just say they will be collecting dust in my inventory. But not these new Maitreya jeans! Completely in love with how well these jeans fit my curves, the bum looks amazing (and we all know that is IMPORTANT when choosing jeans) and they have a huge choice of colours.
